Just a little bit to get you familiar with the two DJ’s that helped show DC that rain or shine, nothing stops the dirty drops!

Pauly Van Doorn (PVD)

POSITION: Founder, Chief of Promotion, DJ

STYLE: Progressive Trance, Progressive House

BEST KNOWN FOR: Collaboration of trance/ progressive house music from well known DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, and much more.

MUSIC: D.R.E.A.M. and O.N. AIR.

Sumner

POSITION: DJ, Jack-of-all-trade

Sumner earned his stripes in the North Carolina EDM scene as a young maestro in 2008. Transplanting to DC in the spring of 2010, he quickly ingratiated himself with the Capital club scene, teaming up with local collective, Scandal, for gigs at Fly Lounge & Gazuza Lounge and Will Eastman for his Bliss Party at U Street Music Hall.  While not in the booth, he hits up the eastern seaboard from VA to NYC as well as the west coast, earning a name for himself through his infamous “Wake Me On Tuesday” house parties.  His musical palette continues to evolve, but the majority of his studio mixes and live sets can be characterized by a variety of massive electro hooks, melodic trance breakdowns, and steady techno & minimalistic rhythms, which still have the soul and accessibility of house music.
